• I’ve honestly never had the chance to go out by myself before. Normally I go out with family or friends but this time I need space.

  • These pictures were a bit tricky to get, to be perfectly honest I didn’t think I’d have to get so dirty with the angle for some of these but I tried my best

  • The idea of putting yourself in the shoes of someone else is a pretty fun conspect wise. Especially fictional characters. So I decided to spin a wheel to talk about one of my favorite characters in fiction. I once read a book called Epithet Erased, and the character I landed on was called Molly Blinddyff, she’s a 12 year old girl with the burden and knowledge of taxes that an adult has. She has to skip school to make sure her father’s toy store doesn’t go bankrupt, she cooks, cleans, Cashiers and still has to do homework from which she can’t do much of due to her father being a man-child. The character itself however is very kind and timid yet clever. I personally love how this character is written and putting myself in her shoes I would’ve definitally been enraged.

  • A thing that I’ve always found pretty neat is music artist album covers. You can tell a lot about an artist based on how they see the world. My favorite artist as of late had been Tyler the Creator. Every style he uses for his album speaks volume.

  • I got this pratice idea from thinking about those old timey booth that take photos in black and white and thought to try it with an old photo. I think I like it a little too much.

  • Before I found out what I would take a picture of, I thought of what is something that I could play with the colors of. Then I remembered I have a mic that I record with that lights up.

i tried really hard to play with the shadows, especially with the second picture, it was really hard to get it right but I like to think I got the idea.

  • I had a friend of mine help better explain the rule of thirds to me with a picture they. But I wonder how long it’ll take me to take pics in rule of third without the grid.

  • Ever since I joined this class, I’ve been seeing weird design choices all over in the games I play. Mainly in font spacing and choice. One game I was watching a friend play used some weird type choice as a character’s default text pattern. It was cool for all of 2 minutes before it started getting grating to look at.

  • I don’t normally do this, but I remember wanting to try free-writing. I’m not new to writing itself, but not being capable of making changes in the work is pretty odd. This is what I managed to write

Made with care and caution. Glass is never stained unless it’s needed to be. The artist is always stained, proof that work has been done. The idea of cleanliness being next to divinity always confused me. Does the choice to be stained make one less godly? Or does the act of having to choose make a god?

Free-writing is fun. It lets my mind flow a lot better without having to think too hard about the words I write.

  • I’m so excited for this month because we’re doing digital photography. I normally have to take pictures for music videos and getting b-roll.

Finally getting to learn proper shot composition and lighting will be so cool. Really, really excited for this month. I can’t wait to show what I learn here.
